Intranet Demo

The intranet served the primary purpose of accessing software development tools. As the product list grew, we needed a solution that would both help developers realize how products integrated, and be able to get their jobs done quickly. The diagram in the center of the home page showed the product relationship and also provided links to the different product menus. I designed the clickable button for the menus in the top bar because these sites weren't visited often by the majority of employees. This allowed the user to ignore these areas entirely rather than wrestling with mouse-over drop-down menus they didn't need. I used photos from a CD for some of the images, and created the rest in PhotoShop. The navigation was done using ssi files. I coded the pages using Macromedia HomeSite, CSS, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL and a SQL database.
